How BioPro Works

BioPro Armour & BioPro Petz are unique combinations of 5 Thymic Proteins which are bioidentical to the proteins that your animal’s body creates naturally, along with Zinc and silver.

BioPro Armour is the right product for your horse and BioPro Petz is for your dogs, cats and other small mammals (same formulas, just different quantities).

It is the job of these proteins to train the body’s immune system to effectively seek and identify diseased cells. Without these proteins, the “helper T-cells” part of your animal's immune system remains untrained and cannot identify abnormal or infected cells for destruction by the “killer T-cells”. See Figure 1.

Thymic Proteins are often the “missing link” for many animals to overcome disease which has withstood treatment with many other immune system supplements, antibiotics and antivirals, without the detrimental side-effects.

Why does my animal need Thymus Proteins?

The unfortunate way that your animal's body was designed, is that their Thymus Gland produces Thymic Proteins in the early years but, as they age, this gland begins to atrophy and eventually stops producing them all together. This is often the cause of increasing susceptibility to sickness and disease in their later years.

Many owners will try to fortify their animal's immune systems with Vitamin C, Echinacea, Garlic and many of the other well-known immune system supplements, but these mainly focus on the health of the “ beta cells” to produce Globulins. These cells perform an essential role, but are not very effective without the “Helper seeker cells” first identifying abnormal diseased cells.

Thymus Proteins are not found in food and the Thymus Gland cannot be fortified to continue to produce these proteins in your animal's later years, or after Thymus gland damage from corticosteroids. Supplementation with BioPro Armour or BioProPetz is the only way to replace them.

What do Thymus Proteins Help Kill?

Many pathogens, particularly viruses, remain present in your animal's body long after recovery from the symptoms of the illness. Other mutant cells, including cancer, occur spontaneously due to certain viruses, chemicals, environmental exposure and many other causes. At any given time, there are infected cells present in your pet's body and it is the job of the immune system to regularly seek these out and kill them.

It is when the body is overwhelmed with this task of seeking and killing diseased cells that they become sick. The mutant cells reproduce past the point that their immune system can kill them and they succumb to disease.

It is also the lack of “helper T-cells” that has been linked with immune system malfunction. Autoimmune disease happens when the body’s own immune system becomes confused as to which cells to kill and begins to kill its own healthy cells. Given that Thymus Proteins fortify the very part that aids in abnormal cell identification, replacing these proteins may help to re-balance the immune function to its optimum level.
