the truth about vaccines

If you are like most pet owners, you probably aren’t aware of the dangers of animal vaccines that have been discovered recently.

Most veterinary associations around the world agree that vaccines can trigger several health issues including allergies and cancer, even though your vet will never tell you this. While studies are still going on to find the extent and long term effects of vaccines, mainstream vets are capitalizing on widespread vaccines in animals. Here we have some information on what the experts are saying.

“With vaccines that are repeated year after year, the frequency and severity of these side-effects in our pets has increased dramatically.” Dr. Donna Starita Mehan, DVM

Recently, a lot of doctors have been talking about the dangers of vaccines, and how they can make your animals sick. Recently, Dr. Baker, an integrative wellness veterinarian wrote in an article that pets can suffer from a health condition due to vaccines, which pet owners are not aware of. The condition is called vaccinosis.

Vaccinosis is a condition that most general veterinarians would not recognize as a sickness because it’s often not an acute or immediate reaction, Dr. Becker explains.

“Vaccinosis, on the other hand, is a problem only holistic veterinarians seem willing to acknowledge. It is a reaction of a pet’s body to vaccines that have been injected without the pet having experienced a notable adverse event or hypersensitivity. These are chronic reactions to not only the altered virus contained in the vaccine, but also to the chemicals, adjuvants, and other components of tissue culture cell lines — as well as possible genetic changes — that can be induced by vaccines.” – Dr. Becker

Schultz, Ph.D, Professor and Chair of the Department of Pathobiological Sciences at the School of Veterinary Medicine, UW-Madison, says – “Annual re-vaccination provides no benefit and may increase the risk for adverse reactions. The percentage of vaccinated animals (those vaccinated only as puppies) protected from clinical disease after challenge with canine distemper virus, canine parvovirus and canine adenovirus in the study was greater than 95%.” (Source: Shirley’s Wellness Café)

It’s really sad that many veterinarians use the ‘Vaccination Business’ as a major profit generator. Vaccine schedules have become a way to keep their business going. However, most vets often don’t talk about the dietary requirements of animals and don’t spend enough time treating animals in holistic ways.

Many experts believe we are giving our animals too many unnecessary vaccinations, too often, which may be causing more harm to the animals than good. Vaccinations are often used as a way to generate steady income for veterinarians. Some of the vaccines are now being linked with excessive itching, allergies, aggressive behavior or even cancer in animals.
